DESIGNS ADJUDICATED. AUCKLANDER'S SUCCESS. s [BY telegraph.—press ASSOCIATION.] INVEECAKGILL. Thuredsy. Mr. W. H. Gummer, of Auckland, has adjudicated on the plans for the Southland war memorial, to cost £10,000. First i prize of £150 goes to Messrs. Combes and White,, of Dunedin, the second, of £50, to Mr. M. K. Draffin, of Auckland. The main block will be of reinforced concrete, covered with slabs of Bluff granite. ''■*■''
