U.S. SENATOR'S PROPOSAL. ADMISSION OF 100,000 REFUGEES. Australian and N.Z Cabl« Association. (Reed. 9.5 p.m.) . NEW YORK. Jan. 9. Mr. J. S. Williams has introduced a Bill into the Senate to authorise the immigration into the United States of 100,000 Armenian refugees, of whom 25 per cent, would be minors, under a bond whereby tho adults would be compelled to take work on the land and the minors would be under the care of orphan . asylums.
