At a meeting of the Canterbury Yachting and Motor-boat Club it was announced that the Linnet, which would represent Canterbury in the Sanders Memorial Cup contest, would leave Lyttelton for Auckland about January 20 by • steamer. Messrs. M. Smith and Watson, in conjunction with Mr. T. Tuohy, who will be visiting Auckland for the race,-were appointed delegates on behalf of the Canterbury Club.
