Apparently this' ■■■_ was the outcome ;of a lengthy meeting of the union held last night, as enough men were engaged previously for all the departments. ' 'i ,, The secretary of the ; union refused to make an explanation, and the works will, commence to-morrow ' with volunteer labour. .Any unionist applying, will be taken, the works; commencing under lie team system of slaughtering. No trouble is anticipated in getting sufficient men to carry on.
