TEE GOVERNOR-GENERAL.
The Governor-General, Lord Jellicoe, and Lady Jellicoe, arrived by the Main Trunk express yesterday, the former from Wanganui and the latter from Napier. His Excellency was present in the neon at the cricket match at Eden Park between the English team and Auckland, ♦ n. m iS* . presented the prizes at the King a College and Sing's School annual prize-giving ceremony in the Town Mall.
This afternoon Lord Jellicoe will perform the opening ceremony at the new Zoo at Western Springs.
