CHANGE OF ADDRESS.
NOTIFICATION NECESSARY,
AVOIDING STRIKING OFF ROLLS. Electors -whose addresses have changed since their names were entered on the rolls for the forthcoming elections should be careful to notify, the altered address to the registrar concerned, stated Mr.* F. Evans, registrar for Auckland Central and for the city licensing area, on Saturday. A large number of "electors' objections" were expected y> be lodged within a few days against the retention on tho rolls of electors who were not living at the addresses stated in the lists. If an elector, while having changed his address, remained in the same electorate, his name was entitled to remain on the roll, but ho took a risk ol! having it struck off by the procedure mentioned unless he notified the change. Mr. Evans said a great many objections could bo quickly eliminated if electors would be careful to notify changed addresses without, delay.
