March 31, 1920 .. £200,455 March 31, 1921 .. £203,111 March 31, 1922 .. £309,025 INCOME TAX March 31 1920 .. £706,192 March 31. 1921 .. £560,301 March 31, 1922 .. £609,918 A note attached to the return states that the difference in the amount of income tax j outstanding at March, 1920, £706,192, and March, 1921, £560,301, is largely accounted for by tho clearing up of a large number of default assessments made during the previous four years, consequent on investigation.
