Burt Veale (Onehunga.) and Miss Veale have beea visiting friends in different pjfftij of the country, and in about three *'&>&& time they sail for Canada and Califoi;ni»; on their way home, hoping to reach r.ew Zealand about the middle of December. Mr. and Mrs. J. Massam (Auckland) leave this week by the Ormonde en route for home. They will'make a short stay/ in Australia before continuing theif journey. They have lately been travelling in Scotland and the North of England, and have brought their visit toi * conclusion by a, trip to the Isle of Wight' their son, Mr. Jt A. Massam, who "»•/ A.D.C., Kenya Colony, and his bride, have returned- to London from their honeymoon trip to Brittany, and they sail to-day for Kenya Colony by the S.S. Modasa. Mr. and Mrs. Edward Murrane (Auckland), who have a large number of rela* tives in the Mother Country, have u»n paying a long round of visits since their arrival in July. Return passages for New Zealand have been booked by a P. anT 0. vessel to ,sail early in November. Mrs. Murrane's health has much benefited by hor trip. , Mr. Frank, Parsons (Epson), who has come to study the violin, fcus been taking private lessons from Mr. WoA at the Royal Academy of Music preparatory to beginning his course at the academy "»■ the middle of this month.
