' Ohinemuri.—The north drive has been advanced 6ft, and is now out 146 ft, with the footwtvll only exposed. The qusrtz is still oxidised, but is of a favourable nature. The south drive is in 288 ft, and the reef is the full width of the drive, with neither wall showing. The quartz is etill of a hard nature, and is showing larga quantities of rhodonite. Values have also been seen in the quartz broken out. New Waiotahi^— The winzo on the northwest lode is down 9ft, and the reef is about 18in wide. Colours of gold have been seen in the stone, which is being saved for treatment. On the footwall leader the drive has been extended 6ft. The small, leader on the hangingwall has opened to 4in, but no gold has been seen. There is another leader coming out of the footwall, and these should junction in the near future.
