REAL LIFE GRAND GOIGNOL. $ DEATH-BED CONFESSION. A. and N.Z. ROME. Aug. 25. The dealih-bed confession of a cinanatograph actor named Cavallaro cleared the mystery surrounding the murder of an old merchant of Turin and a second' murder of an elderly woman two months later at GallettL With a fellow actor named Pietro, both being Sicilians, Cavallaro had been engaged in the production of Grand Guignol j films. Losing their positions and being | penniless they decided to give a realistic jturn to the scenes in which they acted, and murdered and robbed their victims of ,300,000 lire. Cavallaro admitted that but for his illness be would have killed others. Pietro, when arrested, reproached his betrayer, who suddenly collapsed and died.
