The ex-Kaiser's fifth son, Oscar, the exCrorwn Prince Ruprecht of Bavaria, and the ex-Duke George of Saxe Meningen are claiming pensions from the Republic on account of military cervices. The latter'* claim has been rejected as ho retired on his own initiative, not owing to incapacity for service. The claims of the others have not been decided.
