NEW ZEALAND COUNCIL. FIGHT DECLARED VOID. [BY TELEGRAPH. —PRESS ASSOCIATION.] CHRISTCHURCH. Friday. At a meeting of the New, Zealand. Boxing Council to-night the appeal of .Brian McCleary in regard to the decision m ms contest with P. McQuarne was considered. It was decided that on consideration of all the circumstances ae submitted, the council resolves that the McLeary-McQuarne contest be declared void. It was further resolved that the purse be equally emded. Mr. A. Dawson was appointed manager. Of the team i for the Australian championships. An appeal was lod&ed by B. Facoory against his suflpehsion by the Wanganui.Boxing AssoI ciation. and it was decided to ask the I Wanganui Association to supply the council I with the evidence on which it based its J decision- '
