INFANT FATALLY SCALDED.

FALL INTO BOILING WATER.

ACCIDENT AT ARCHHILL.

An inquest was held before the coroner, Mr. J. E. Wilson, S.M.. yesterday, concerning the death of a three-year-old infant, Frederick Trevor - Harris, whose parents live at Bond Street, Archhi'l. The evidence showed that on Sunday morning the child accidentally fell into a bucket of boiling water which was on the kitchen floor, and sustained scalds. His condition was good when admitted to the Auckland Hospital, but a delayed shock was responsible for a relapse, and the child died on Wednesday. The coroner returned a verdict to the effect that death was the result of accident.
