FIRE BRIGADE SOCIAL.
MOUNT EDEN ANNIVERSARY. The thirty-third anniversary of the Mount Eden Fire Brigade was celebrated at tho firo station by a social evening, at which firemen from nearly all the brigades in the Auckland district were present. Presentations of bars and medals were made by the deputy-Mayor of Mount Eden, Mr. E. H. Potter, to the following Williams, who has 33 years' service to his credit; Secretary Honcycombe, 16 years; Fireman J. Hunt, 11 years; J. Campbell, 9 years; C. P. Surmani T. Edwards, and R.
