SLEEPING SICKNESS.
A PROMISING TREATMENT. A. and N.Z. CAPETOWN. Aug. 14. Two German scientists, Professor Klein and Dr. Fischer, who are carrying out experiments in the cure of sleeping sickness in Northern Rhodesia, have obtained promising results on white men. natives, and animals. Two days after treatment the blood showed no traces of the disease. Professor Klein is continuing his experiments until he is satisfied that bis cure is permanent.
