PNEUMATIC RIVETING.
SYDNEY WORKERS OBJECT.
Australian and N-Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 6.5 p.m.) SYDNEY. Aug. 15. A number of boilermakers have been dismissed from the waterfront engineering shops for allegedly adopting go-slow methods, recently formulated by the T nhour Council. Officials of the Trades Hall state that a large number of the employees have been dismissed because they signified their intention of not using mechanical appliances, such as pneumatic riveters. This mean s that they intend to revert to the old method of hand work.
