ELEVEN MONTHS' RETURNS.
HEAVY BUTTER INCREASE.
GREAT DIFFERENCE FOR JUNE [by telegraph.— press association.] WELLINGTON. Wednesday. The dairy division of the Department of Agriculture states, that the butter graded for June. 1922, totalled 23,717 cwt., against 4888 for a similar period in 1921, an increase of 385:20 per cent.; cheese, 17,265cwt., against 18,171, a decrease of 4.98 per cent. The total for the 11 months ended June 30 was: Butter, 999,052cwt., against 1921, an increase of 45.39 per cent ; chee&, 1,173,038cwt., against 1,114,660 for 1921, an increase of 4.20 per cent.; converting there figures into butter-fat equivalent, there is an increase for 1922 of 32.04 per cent, compared with 1921.
