AUCKLAND ASSOCIATION. Tli© Auckland Hockey Association met on Tuesday evening. Mr. L. C. Kent presiding. It was decided that the second grade match, St. Luke's v. Somervell, he replayed. A Somervell registration, after hem? sent to the association secretary, had gone asUy, through no fault of the association or club. It was arranged for a senior grade team to Visit.Waiuku on July 15. The Franklin Association was ganted permiesion to change iteco.oure from red and black to red and white. P. Irv:ne'« application for transfer from Somervell to Axeta was granted. 5 herer.was granted permission to play for University in the Auckland championships. It was resolved to ask all playere to oontr but* to the Pearson Memorial Fund en Augu t 26, when an endeavour is to be made to play a Thames v. Auckland match. Arrangements were put in hand for the tour of an Auckland representative team, with the shield, from August 18 to September 4. Mr. D. Alexander's resignation from the committee was accepted with regret, and Mr- Hoverd wag elected to the vacancy. An endeavour is to be made during the pre eiit eeason to send a junior represent- i ative team to Chriatchurch to play fox the Junior Cup. j FIXTURES FOR SATURDAY.
