ANOTHER LARGE DEFICIT. DEBT TOTALS £1,158,000,000. Auetralian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 6.5 p.m.) ROME, June 2a This year's deficit is estimated at 6,000,000,000 lire (£61,000,000 at the present rate of exchange). This is causing alarm in Parliament, and deputies are urging a drastic reduction of the debt, which is now 110,000,000,000 lire at the present rate of exchange (approximately £1,158,000,000).
