USE OF SUEZ CANAL. ALLEGED BRITISH BAR, Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 6.20 p.m.) WASHINGTON, Junf 28. Mr. G. W.' Edmonds, a representative for Pennsylvania, has circularised members of the House of Representatives alleging that the British have taken steps to bsir American vesse's from the use of the Suez Canal as part of a campaign to defeat the American Merchant Marine Subsidy Bill now before Congress. He declarer, that American vessels have been omitted from the classification of ships allowed to enter the canal with cargoes of benzine and petroleum.
