THE STRANDED SCOW.
SAID TO BE LEAKING BADLY.
The scow Haere, which went ashore a few miles south of the Cape Maria Van Diemen lighthouse, is reported to he leaking badly. It is doubtful whether she can be got off the beach without repairs. Mr. Harrison Smith will leave Auckland for the scow in a day or two to report on her condition to the underwriters.
