An ancient brass-bound Arab dower chest, which has been in the family of a oofcstal Arab Sheikh for many centuries, was sent as a wedding present to Princess Mary (saya a Central Kews message). The chest was originally used for the storing of the trousseau of the Sheikh's wives. Its owner only parted with it. in view of the special oire-u.msta.nces, and it waa &cnt on behalf of the people of Kenya,
