CIVIL ENGINEERS.
The sixteenth general meeting of the Auckland provincial district branch of tho New Zealand Society of Civil Engineers was held at the lecture theatre, engineering department. University College, last evening. Mr. Ashley J. Hunter presided.. Mr. W. E. Bush contributed "Notes on Water Supply," which was illustrated by lantern slides. On Saturday, May 20. the members propose to pay a visit of inspection to Nihotupu dam works.
