ANNUAL STAFF SOCIAL.
The annual social tendered by the directors to the staff of Milne and Choyce, Ltd., was held on Thursday evening in the Scota Hall, Symonds Street, and proved an unqualified success, being attended by nearly 500 of the employees and their friends. The earlier hours of the evening •were devoted to fancy dan-cing, musical items, games, etc., and after Buoner the remainder of the time was given over to the dancers. The first part of the programme is deserving of special mention, because of the originality displayed by the committee© in providing pleasure and fun for the visitors. The "Masked Medley" and "Animals" produced screams of laughter, while the "balloon dance" wm most novel. As it was a Cinderella evening, proceedings terminated at midnight.
