ST. JAMES' CHURCH.
YOUNG PEOPLE'S RALLY. A most successful young people's rally in connection with St. James' (Presbyterian) Church diamond jubilee \m hold on Tuesday evening in St. James' Hall, Wellington Street. The Rev. 6. Pater6on presided over a large attendance .of past and present Sunday school and Bible clasß teachers and scholars. The meeting proved one of the most successful yet held in connection with the church. The speakers included tho Rev. S. Robertson Orr, of St. Andrew's Church, Wellington, the Rev. W. McDonald, of Epsom, and the Rev. D. 0. Herron, of St. David's; Messrs. J. C. Entrioan, T. Macky, C. S. Falkiner, Colin Matheson, and A. J. Entrican. A musical programme was given, items being given by Misses Cooke and Brizzell, Mrs. Hood, Messrs. Anderson, J. Crawford, A. Clarke, A. Gow, and T. Herdson. The social concluded with, supper. A thanksgiving service was held last evening, the minister being tho Rev. G, Pateraon.
