AUSTRALIAN SEAMEN.
TRANSFER OF MEMBERS.
BRITISH UNION'S INQUIRY. A. and N.Z- LONDON. March 13.
Mr. J. Havelock Wilson, secretary to the National Sailors and Firemen's Union, has cabled to Mr, Walsh, secretary to the Australian Seamen's Union, as follows:— " The members of the National Sailors and Firemen's Union complain that you refuse to transfer any of our members, although we have had an agreement with your union of many years' standing to transfer each other's members. May I ask if that resolution has been rescinded, as we have no notice. If you persist in being unreasonable in this matter, we shall have to protect our members' interests."
