— ■» FORESTERS' DOURTS' DISPUTE I The unusual sp?3tacle of 55 men taking possession of tho Foresters' Hall at Takapuna was witnessed by residents at 9 a.m. on Saturday. Tfw incident arose out of an unhappy difference between the Auckland District Court and members of the Takapuna Court over the lease of the hall at Takapuna, The circumstances are that for some time the Takapuna Court or a committee of its members has been using the )mll for picture entertainments with the • approval of the Auckland District Court. Becently, however, the Auckland District Court wished to terminate this arrangement and gave notice to this effect. Subsequently the District Court put a caretaker in possession, but this man was ejected abont a fortnight ago by members of the Takapuna Court, and the picture committee took possession,again. A writ was then issued by the Auckland District . Court against certain members of the Takapuna Court for allegocl and representatives of the district took cnarge on Saturday, and are still in possession. On account of the dispute and the feeling it. has created the picture entertainment was abandoned on Saturday night.
