NEW ZEALANDER MURDERED

ESCAPE OE ASSAILANT. By Telegraph—Press Association—Copyright. (Receded 6.30 p.m.) A. and N.Z. CAIRO. Feb. 18. Tho dead body of Mr, Jordan, a New Zeolander, who owned a business in Cairo, with a shot through the heart, was found beneath Ihe bridge near the Cairo railway station, where thero have beon numerous ambushes recently. Tho police are without a clue. Mr. Alfred Brown, a high official of the Egyptian Ministry of Education, was shot with a revolver and seriously wounded. His assailant escaped.
