HAMILTON PICNIC.
[by telegraph.—own correspondent.] HAMILTON, Saturday.
The Hamilton Chamber of Commerce held its first annual picnic to-day. The large river steamer Manuwai took between 300 and 400 people down the river to Rototuna, the Waikato military band providing music en route. At the picnic ground races were (held, and a most successful function concluded with a concert on the steamer in the evening.
