CLUB CHAMPIONSHIPS.

The aoventh round of the Auckland Cricket AssociitioD's club championship matohes will be commenced this afternoon. Tho grounds are in good order, and with faßt wickets and keen outfields bright cricket should result.

Two senior matches will bo played at Eden Park, Eden A meeting Parnell on No. 1 wicket, and Grafton contesting cricket supremacy with University on No. 2 wicket. The match between Eden A and Parnell should be ft close and interesting contest. Bo'.h teams are strong alike in batting and bowling. Grafton, fresh from its triumph over Parnell, will meet University with the greatest confidence, and a good game may be anticipated. Ponsonby will visit North Shore, and meet the local team on the home wicket. Ponsonby is not likely to repeat its record score against the attack of North Shore, but the game will be worth watching, and aomo good performances are certain to be recorded. Eden B has been drawn j against Y.M.C.A., to be played at Remuern, I where the wicket is invariably good and the I outfield fast. These teams are occupying a I low position in the championship, but are evenly matched, and a good game should ! result. In the junior grades interesting games will be played, and with fino weather and fast wickets, sound performances may i bo viipocted.
