THE WASHINGTON DISASTER.
CHARGES OF MANSLAUGHTER A. tod NZ. WASHINGTON, Feb. 16.
The coroner's jury found that nine persons, comprising architects, engineers, building inspectors, and biiilders were responsible for the collapse of the Knickerbocker Theatre on January 28, when over 100 lives were lost. They will .bo charged with involuntary. manslaughter on the ground that the collapse was due to faulty design in construction.
