CANADA AND AUSTRALIA.
Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 7.5 p.m.) NEW YORK, Feb. 15. Mr. G. F. Pearce's secretary telegraphs from Ottawa that Mr. Pearce conferred Tsith Mr. McKenzie King, Prime Minister, and other Canadian Ministers on the question of trade relations between Canada and Australia. The Canadian Government is very anxious to improve these, especially owing to the effect of the UniUd States tariff on Canadian trade, and wiil probably make proposals favourable to Australia.
