The final bhoot for the ,Floyd championship belt, under the auspices of the Defence Rifle Club, wae won by Rifleman W. P. Bell. whose aggregate was 402. Rifleman D. M. Molntosh was runner-up with 393, and Rifleman E. J. Smallfield third wita 855. A feature of the day's shooting was a possible put on by Mcintosh at 600 yds.

The Taranaki Rifle Association's Meetitj was held to-day. The grand aggregi.'n, champion belt and £7 10s was won by D. Scannell (Hawera), with 254. The neat were: J. Smart (Wellington Suburbs), £5, 251; E. Ashley (Akarana). £3, 247; A. H. Guy (Kaponga), £2, 245: J. S. Wilson (Wanganui), £1, 241; P. C. Hamilton (Wanganui), £1, 240; R. A, Sangster (Kaponga), £1 239; J. F. Atkinson (Akarana), 237, and F. J. Causley (Thames), 237. each 10s. The long range aggregate was won by P. C. Hamilton (Wunganui), with 12-i, and he took £4. The short range aggregate was won by G. G. Ashley (Akarana). £4, 130.
