With a representative gathering of i farmers in attendance, the uewly-eMcicd j cattle dip, built by d'>.<tion of the j H«tei«nl& Cattle Dipping Associf,%ii, was formally declared cpei- to-day by. Mr. Stewart, Government stock inspector. Tho dip, erected from Governmsnt plans, cost about £600, which sum was subscribed by tho fanners. Fifteen head of cattle were put through in four minutes.
