HUSBAND AND WIFE.
♦ A decree for restitution of conjugal , rights was granted to Alice Magdalene : Miteerc-'- (Mr. Singer) against William « Milner' by Mr. Justice Herdman at the ' Supreme Court yesterday. Petitioner said ' they had one child, and had lived at Auck- ! land and Helensville. There were fre- ' quent separations, and in July respondent ' left her and refused to return. ' An order for restitution of conjugal ' rights was sought by William John Hawkes ' (Mr. Ziman) from Mary Ann Hawkes. The ' parties were married in 1911. Petitioner ' stated that his wife left him in 1919, stat- ' ing that she wished to be near her mother. 1 He produced letters asking her to return, ] which she had not complied with.
