The workmanship is truly wonderful, and no description of the collection could faithiully convey to anyone the real excellence of this great array of Eastern handicraft. Tho stock of' chinaware, including dinner and tea sets is large, and comprises the finest work of all the leading potters of Great Britain. Side by side stand excellent samples of Holland's celebraUd- Astraware, and there is the blue chung ware, the latter being faithful reproductions of old Chinese. Then the collection of Brannan's Royal Barum pottery is exquisite, while the Riilto, Arcadian, and Tortoise shell ware is truly great. A feature of the stock is the copies of antique designs. The leading potters to-day are specialising in this work, and the result is really a revelation. Mr. R. K. Smith) principal of the firm, has devoted much time to the study of this business, and by featuring certain high-grade lines he is. catering for the artistic tastes of the community.
