ALLIES ORDER CLOSING. DEFIANT PROTESTS MADE. Australian and N-Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 5.5 p.m.) BERLIN. Nov. 16. Tho newspapers defiantly protest against the inter-Allied Commission's order that the works of the Deutsche Werke Company, which wa s formed to take/over the arms factories formerly owned by tho State, must closo on November 30. They accuse the Allies of trying to destroy German industry. Tho workmen in one branch declare that they will not destroy tho arms unless compelled by force.
