FARMER AND MORTGAGEE.

Sir—lu answer to " Old Farmer's" very onesided view of the dairy farmers' position to-day, I beg to bring the other side under his notice. He mentioned tho man who coined monoy and bought motor-cars. I speak of tho farmer who has a mortgage to pay off. I auite ape with Mr. Sinclair, and would be obliged to " Old Farmer" if he would tell mo how long it is sinco he earned his living on a mortgaged farm. In my opinion it will pay "OW Farmer" to take our assistant manager's advice, or he may find himself up against what the poorer dairyman is up against at the present— high cost of living, high cost of production, high taxationj and low value of produce. 'A Man on a Mortgaged Farm.
