RELIEF OF UNEMPLOYED
LOANS FOR PUBLIC WORKS.
SANCTION OF GOVERNMENT. A. and N.Z. LONDON. Sept. 15. The Ministry for Health has circularis3d local authorities, saying that it is propared to sanction loans for public works giving a relatively large amount of employment, even though there is no extreme urgency, but the Minister must be satisfied that there will be no undue extravagance through the employment of uneconomic labour.
