PRESENTATION.
A presentation of a case of pipes was made yesterday to Mr. C. Ranson, retiring manager of the Northern Steamship Company, by the permanent waterside staff of the company. The inscription on the case conveys the esteem of the men for their manager. A farewell function will be tendered to Mr. Ranson by the staff of the company in the Masonic Hali, Princes Street, to-morrow evening.
