IMPERIAL PARLIAMENT.
AUTUMN SESSION URGED. A. and N-Z. LONDON, July 26. There is considerable opposition to the Government's determination not to hold an autumn session of Parliament on the ground that it is not desirable that vital questions like Ireland, the financial position, and the Washington conference should be left entirely to executive control, without Parliamentary supervision. Mr. Austen Chamberlain said that if necessary Parliament would be summoned to deal with the Irish situation.
