The Governor-General, accompanied by Lady Jellicoe and the Hon. Lucy Jellico*, arrived in Invercargill on his first official visit to Southland. He was accorded a public welcome this afternoon in the presence of a very large crowd. The vice-regal party will be in the district until the beginning of nest week.
