j PROTEST AGAINST TAXATION. j A. and N-Z. SYDNEY, July 26. The annual report of the New South Wales Cricket Association shows a record season, receipts for the year being £.12,968, and expenditure £6057. The Federal income tax amounted to £1000. It was decided to enter a otrong protest against this, as the money is expended for promoting the gams. J
