KUMEU NEWS.
The Kumeu District .Agricultural and Horticultural Society held a very successful social and dance in- the Kumeu hall on Friday evening. The Lyric quartette provided vocal and musical items, which were very much appreciated. Mr. Jones, auctioneer, conducted a very successful sale of ladies' baskets, the sum of £25 being realisd. The floor was then cleared and dancing waa kept up until, 2.30 a.m.
