LABOUR CONFERENCE.
—-»•-■ » - ■■ ■ IMPROVED ORGANISATION. Reviewing the work of the recent Labour Party conference in Wellington, Mr. P. Fraser, M.P., stated that it was decided that during the current year the National Executive ehould take steps to get into closer touch and co-operation with not only the Australian Labour Party, but with the Labour parties in Great Britain, Canada, South Africa, and the other countries forming U'o British Empire. Mr. Fraser also said the question of international affiliation was deferred until next year's conference, mainly owing to the difference of opinion prevailing on tho question in Europe, and to the. lack of accurate and authoritative information concerning the various internationals set up. Ti'acro was general agreement on the principle that the work ers of New Zealand must determine thoir own line of advance. That line of advance was by means of democracy, the use of tho franchise, and improved industrial organisation, unity, ana activity.
