THE CANTEEN FUNDS.
LARGE SUM IN HAND. [BY TELEGRAPH.—OWN CORRESPONDENT.] WELLINGTON. Monday. The amount to the credit of the New Zealand Expeditionary Force Canteen and Regimental Fund is now £116,837. The fund is made up of "the following amounts: —Egypt £±773 France £22,953, Samoa £735, United Kingdom £29,165 (less £2125 advances for w'riting regimental bistorajs), proportion due to New Zealand from British Expeditionary Force Canteen Funds £18.588, further "miscellaneous receipts £45,015, and interest on investments £728.
