LONGWOOL SHEEP.
FEWER FLOCKS IN AUSTRALIA Australian and N.Z. Cable Association. (Reed. 12.30 a.m.) SYDNEY. July 7. The report presented at the annual meeting of the Longwool Sheep Breeders' Association stated that owing to small prices and the limited demand for longwool sheep, wool during the past year, 49 registered Australian flocks had been dispersed. Against this 27 new flocks had been established. The council, however, was confident that the longwool industry would recover and regain its former prosperity as European conditions became normal. Already the demand was somewhat improved.
