UNKNOWN MAN KILLED.
KNOCKED DOWN BY LORRY,
KARANGAHAPE ROAD ACCIDENT.,
A fatal accident occurred in Karariaahape Road at about L3O pan. on Saturday, an elderly man who has not yet bees identified being knocked down by a motorlorry when crossing the street. He was conveyed to the Auckland Hospital in an; unconscious condition, and died soon aflas three o'clock on the same afternoon, without regaining ocmsrioasness. The accident took place at the corner of West Street; and Karangahape Bead. The lorry was driven by Mr. Frank Martin. Deceased was apparently about 60 year* of age, and about 6ft "fin. in height. Ha had a grey moustache and grey hair, fresh compleiion, and brown eyes. He was wearing a dark grey suit of clothes sad grey socks.
