FIRE ON AMERICAN LINER.
SABOTAGE SUSPECTED.
A. *nd N.Z. NEW YORK. May 20. Fire, caused by a leaking oil-tank severely damaged the Shipping Board's new liner Panhandle State, 10,000 tons. The vessel has been beached. The fire was, discovered an hour after the striking crew had left the vessel A Federal inquiry has opened. -
