MINISTERS' MOVEMENTS.
The Hon. W. Downie Stewart, Minister for Customs, attended the sitting of the Tariff Commission yesterday. This afternoon the Minister will receive a deputation from Auckland business houses whnii will make" representations in opposition to the embargo- recently placed on the importation of gas cookers. On Friday the Minister is to receive a deputation in regard to marine matters.
